Pros

Top in class products and customers, Most employees are outstanding to work with and all pull together to make a positive difference.

Cons

Politics are ever present. It is important to keep your thoughts to yourself. Lots of travel as well, which is both good and bad.

Pros

Stress free work environment, cafeteria's really good, good temperature control, no one really talked with each other, great benefits for entry level job. So bored I planned my next steps to move into a different career. Management was all super nice. Great starter and am happy for it showing me what I didn't want to do.

Cons

Boring work, tried to look busy a lot, watching clock tick, no one really talked to each other, redundant tasks, waiting to be mostly automated. Basically cleaning terrible data. A few weirdos but they keep it interesting. Olathe might be one of the most dull towns in the US. Too bad they couldn't have been just a few miles north closer to Kansas City.

Pros

fun and social work environment, very easy going - reminds me of 'studio' in college. very talented team members to work with and learn from wide variety of projects great benefits (401k, stock, and healthcare)

Cons

typical corporate company issues - low risk, slow/hard to get things approved, etc. (very hard to get travel approved) very engineering minded/perspective company (not always bad, but can be frustrating) While initial salary is not bad, lack of bonuses and/or salary raises to match cost of living inflation. Only possible raise comes from promotion/title change. Lack of positions past senior designer. There are possible leadership roles past senior, but nothing past senior for non management focused designers, which means lack of promotions... ID currently reports to/under engineering (ME) which can be frustrating. Lack of "higher up" influential design leader /director.
