Mentoring: they assign you a mentor who will work with you exclusively until you can confidently step on your feet. There is weekly meet up with your manager to answer your questions and concerns. My last companies did not spend this much of effort in the mentoring as well as Garmin does. Work-life balance: 40 hours a week (rarely over time). Community: friendly and willing to help each other.
