Pros

Fantastic training, fast growing company, excellent team oriented and supportive atmosphere. The best thing about working at Gartner was that every person was willing to help or coach you through difficult situations. This is a company that invests a lot of time and money into their account executives, especially for the fast growing Small to Medium Size (SMB) portion of Gartner's business.

Cons

Sometimes an account executive (AE) will be placed in a disadvantageous position with little to no input from the AE, like being handed bad deals, angry or disgruntled clients who will most likely not renew their business with Gartner. Even though the brand new AE has not made any mistakes at all, he/she will still suffer the penalties of the client leaving. Additionally, Gartner is not above practicing dishonest sales tactics in order manipulate its clients into doing what Gartner wants.

Pros

Gartner is an excellent environment to grow and learn. The company has great benefits and lots of longterm career potential.

Cons

The Fort Myers SMB office is extremely political with a large degree of micromanagement.
