Pros

Name recognition. If you are in IT, you are familiar with Gartner. Smart people, great vision, growing company with lots of opportunities.

Cons

As with many companies there are several layers of unnecessary managers that report to one another. Happy to be a part of this company, though sometimes I feel like I complete spreadsheets so that my manager can check a to do off the list. I have a great manager, so I am not complaining.

Pros

strong benefits package, interaction with smart analysts, attending events to meet and learn from your clients.

Cons

Relationships with management say much about your future with the company. Paired with successful veteran managers I produced some of my finest, award-winning work. Paired with younger, unsupportive managers I was treated as deadwood to be cast off. I feel a great deal of anger and bitterness over my last year with this company.
