Campus Team plays favoritism

Pros

Join any other team- do not join campus

Cons

I worked at Gartner less than a year on the campus team and I left because of how terrible the team was. Managers play favorites and could careless about remote teams. They have these awards each month to team members and literally give it all to the same people and it discourages everyone else not in the FL office. There are unrealistic goals for hiring, and if you do not meet your goals, you will be called out in team calls & embarrassed. Managers claim to be too busy to help coach you, so you are literally on your own. It was the most toxic environment I have ever worked in. I would never recommend the Gartner campus team to anyone.

very poor management

Pros

good benefits - medical, dental, PTO

Cons

Management is horrible. If you complain to HR, they won't offer any support, they'll pass your complain on to your manager and at that point you've to look for a new job. Avoid, at any cost, the risk practice. Horrible horrible management.

Pros

- Talented co-workers - Decent benefits and compensation - Good environment to learn key entry level skills

Cons

- Middle management and leadership do not communicate effectively and put much more weight on metrics than development and mission - Feels like the company is suffering post acquisition. Heritage CEB employees feel like they are left to fend for themselves. - Professional development and career pathing is misguided at best and a lie at worst. At entry we were told that we'd be preparing for a promotional interview after 9 months and in a new position after 12. After 9 months this didn't materialize.
