      Pros

      Collegial culture with intellectual rigor, which is a result of its Research heritage, creates an attractive environment for personal growth. Career path opportunities are endless across the entire company. Still behaves like a growth company with young aspiring smart professional people. Company is still hiring aggressively while other professional firms entrenched over last five years. Stock has done very well and has been rewarded by Wall Street due to its strong leadership and management. This is a place to come to for the rest of your career or as a valuable stop along the way. Many former Gartner employees return which is a testament to the company as a desirable place to work.

      Use to provide stock options to reward many employees. Now only provides a stock purchase program similar to other organizations.

      Decent Salary level, excellent compensations. Good career opportunities. Good training programs.

      Cons

      massive employees turnover in sales SMB. If you inherited a bad territory you are in troubles and there's no way to escalate it. They don't take in count countries with bad economy (same price list for all Euro Countries) and UK price list is actually 30% cheaper and US price list is 50% cheaper. So it's difficult to sell in some territories: such as France, Italy, Spain, Portugal.
