      Pros

      decent work/life balance if you have the right manager great cafeteria and gym

      Cons

      very political pay is below industry standards hard to advance (unless you know the right people) don't even consider working in Gartner HR (NA) unless you're absolutely desparate for a job

      Pros

      Access to senior level management of client organizations. Access to current knowledge and trends of the IT industry. Recognizable brand name.

      Cons

      Immature sales management. Rigid KPIs. Everyone is expected to behave in the same way to fit the culture. Monthly sales pressure do not allow strategic view into developing long term and surer revenue stream from potential key clients. Employee benefits mininum to none.

      Gartner lacks strong mid management. C-Suite represents the sum total of executive skills. Stack ranking and poor ops makes for a non-collaborative environment.
