Pros

-Stability. Gartner's response to the pandemic was pretty good compared to other companies. Provided employees with a payback on 401k matching and gave a couple one time bonuses. -Benefits. Good amount of PTO that you are encouraged to take without a guilt trip. -Opportunity to work with CIO/CISO/CDO/CHROs and build your network

Cons

-Room for growth only for those who are willing to play the game and "drink the koolaid." No clear career pathing. -Management at every level is unqualified, undertrained and will throw reports under the bus. There is a huge disconnect between what the individual contributors want/need to be successful and what the management think they need. Held a "listening tour" and ignored the feedback. -Company is mostly new employees now because the tenured people have left because of the lack of change -Lack of culture -Lack of transparency

Pros

Decent salaries, benefits, time off, flexibility. Access to research is great. Fantastic hiring experience.

Cons

- Lack of diversity (particularly at the top), and overall lack of commitment to inclusion and diversity. - Zero interest in best practices - strong bias for creating new, customized solutions, creating scalability issues. - Many of those who get promoted tend to be pretty terrible and nasty to their teams and organizations, but "they get results." Many of these individuals wouldn't be good role models as decent human beings - in fact, they're quite the opposite. - Myopic view of how good businesses are run. - Loads of competition throughout middle management fuels bad culture. - Lack of infrastructure given company's size and maturity.

Pros

Good benefits Fort Myers is a nice beach town Nice office space

Cons

Leadership has no desire to grow you professionally as they only care about the deals you are bringing in Middle and upper management are typically deaf to the world around us, and will constantly push you to sell a $60k password to struggling businesses that MAY or MAY NOT deliver ROI No diversity in the Ft Myers office and no desire to change that They have a bench of new AEs that sit and wait for an open Book of Business because they know the AE turnover is so high and don't care to change that fact. Absolutely disgraceful.
