      Pros

      Outstanding place. Effective leadership, talented staff, interesting projects, and an atmosphere that promotes balance between professional life and family life.

      Cons

      Garver seems to be avoiding the common pitfalls that other large companies slip into.

      Pros

      Flexibility in hours, small enough company that you can basically know everyone, even if there is a bunch of different offices. The company wide meeting is awesome but you cant go every year unfortunately.

      Cons

      I wish everyone got a chance to go to the company wide meeting every year, but I get why its not financially feasible. The only other thing that bothers me is how its not exactly the most tolerant company when it comes to accepting people. I think you'd probably get fired for being gay unfortunately. Most of the leaders are evangelical christian. There's even a pastor that comes around and talks to you once a week. Its weird but it doesn't bother me and I could see how it would make some people feel uncomfortable.

      Pros

      Garver is a very family oriented firm. They care for you as a person not just as a number. Making my move to Garver was the best career choice i could have ever made.

      Cons

      Due to the size of Garver, which is not a bad thing, the chance of working on a big signature project is not has high as other firms.
