Pros

Support from IMMEDIATE supervisors but not from the higher ups.

Cons

Pay, benefits, forced to use Geisinger doctors and their mail order pharmacy.

Pros

Geisinger has done a good job with maintaining a reputation in the industry which can be helpful. Work life balance can be achieved. Could be a good fit if you view work as a means to an end, not particularly interested in a career growth, and just looking for a place to work.

Cons

The reputation may not actually be deserved. Poor compensation compared to other non-profit health systems. Very poor environment from diversity & inclusion perspective and any initiative they have feels like a show where senior leadership openly makes uncomfortable comments to minority employees (% of minority employees is very small).

Pros

Dedicated employees, work from home options.

Cons

Too many politics and lack of transparency. Unrealistic expectations and Executive leaders are out of touch. No accountability.
