Don’t even bother! Geisinger ruined what was left of Holy Spirit Hospital!
Pros
The older docs still believe in patient care. Geisinger is pushing an “assembly line...get the patients in and out & get those numbers up” method. The insurance is affordable with the wellness plan . (Although their BMI calculating method is outdated.—luckily I’m not short)
Cons
For a company that has this big-time personality test before hiring, they seem to be turning away good candidates and pulling in some lazy & rude employees. There’s a lot of bullying, backstabbing, and racism in this hospital and the practices. There’s nastiness towards patients. Management says they can’t do anything about it. Understaffing, The pay scale is way off. Employees are unappreciated and disrespected. There’s no focus on patient care. It’s become a very selfish company that states its main focus is morals and values but yet it’s full of liars and hypocrites.
