      I didn't enjoy my time at Geisinger

      Pros

      Most of your coworkers are friendly and easy to get along with

      Cons

      Management isn't great. There is little training on how to do your job, and it was often difficult to figure out what I was supposed to do. Just not a proper amount of communication about what was expected of me. Since the work isn't lab-oriented, it isn't really valuable as a stepping stone to a better job either.

      Micromanaged to death and it's all female environment if you WFH

      Pros

      You do accumulate PTO, training went super slow.

      Cons

      Micromanged, breaks can change daily so if you need to pick up kids from school that will be an issue. The environment didn't feel right and lots of forced interactions in Teams. So much of my training was talking about people's cats, Halloween decor, and dumb stuff. After taxes, I made $100 per DAY.

      Great coworkers, some flexibility, location

      Cons

      Employees are not valued. Long term Employees are underpaid. Insurance is not the worst but you must use geisinger doctors and most aren't good and the ones who are you will wait a year to see.
