Chill Supervisor on 2nd shift
Cons
Health insurance offered is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive
Old boys that have been there for 25+years are stuck in their own ways, hinders growth and development of new methods. Day shift is a joke.
Decent environment, young crowd in engineering. (company only hires newly graduated engineers). This was my first job out of college and was a good opportunity to hone in Solidworks skills, Draftsight 2D CAD, modeling and drawings. Manufacturing shop attached provides good learning experience for new engineers. If you do your work timely and ask questions, this company will provide a great stepping stone for your career.
Cons
awful moronic upper management, condescending towards engineers.. Luckily interaction with them isn't frequent. Engineering management only knows electrical engineering, so mechanical engineering knowledge is non existent. No room for career growth or promotions. High employee turnover.
