Pros

Great Benefits, Fleixible Work Schedule, Professional Colleagues that live by Work Hard, Play Hard attitude. Great transportation benefits and onsite reqources

Cons

Roche lowering benefits a little every year - non-exempt are not allowed to work from home - backup care decreased from 20 to 10 days - no longer value administrative roles, we now feel expendable whereas before the Roche merger we were valued like everyone else

gRide program allows you to be productive on WiFi enabled buses and arrive at work without the stress of driving in Bay area traffic

The company has less than 3% merit increase budget which does not even keep up with ithe cost of living in the Bay area. Genentech does calibration on a curve and force fits employee performance ratings so it is difficult to be
