      Pros

      It would seem that the most impressive thing about Genentech is their phenomenal pipeline and incredibly effective products. But what struck me most was their devotion to patients. This passion changes the company culture from business-related to a deep motivation and belief that their work helps save lives.

      Cons

      Often work around the clock and there is often more work than there are people to do the work, so it's definitely more than the typical "9-5" job.
