Pros

Updated buildings and as a whole a solid product line. Most of the current employees are very talented. The company has good potential if they get there act together.

Cons

Upper level management needs to listen to the employees and stop being the negative ones. There is so much negativity from this level and tension in the air that its sickening. Most employees are working harder and longer than needed out of fear of loosing there jobs. This is a very negative environment at this time and it starts with some of the unrealistic expectations of the upper management, directors, and V.P.s. You are not allowed to voice an opinion to someone, because if one of the directors hears about it your cornered and confronted. People have lost their jobs based on comments made. So much for freedom of speech. The company has lost a lot of top notch talent and its a constant revolving door of people. Most workers in my department are currently looking at other opportunities and sending out there resumes. The overall view is your just an employee, do your job as your told or your out of there. The company will always have someone to fill your shoes. The company is also below average on compensation. Again we have lost a good number of people due to this. Not every year is going to be a banner year, but treat your employees good, and you will be amazed at how much more productive they will become.

Unstable Culture

Pros

Great product with an emphasis on manufacturing; president that loves investing in new technology. A president who leads and inspires. Silver lining is the remaining few good people. But unfortunately even those loyal, dedicated veteran empoyees are leaving and those remaining are actively seeking other employment.

Cons

New initiatives being rolled out daily, in a desperate attempt to change the quickly erroding culture. Life-work balance not recognized or respected. Top-tier managment has changed over the last year-and-a-half to self-seeking micromanagers. As a result of the mass exodus, it has left most departments grossly understaffed. Top-tier management has managed to break what wasn't broken.

Growing company

Pros

Team environments are very strong and their is plenty of work to stay busy. Working on projects exposes you to many different engineering aspects like FEA, material analysis, BOMs, project management, manufacturing, and testing. It's great to have your designs go into production which is very fulfilling. The culture has certainly changed drastically for the better over the past year. I believe that the outlook for the company is very strong as we all grow.

Cons

VP Management is used to not challenging the views of a CEO; they seem to flip sides and people tend to get thrown "under the bus".
