Pros

A lot of people you work with are kind, empathetic, smart, and fun. You can genuinely have a positive impact on the life of others through the work you do.

Cons

GA has a lot of growing up to do. Management has a split of very tenured staff and brand new people and it's hard to trust either to make good choices. Secrecy and shadiness is not uncommon. There are a lot of issues with being paid correctly, especially with commission and instructor payments. Students who come through the programs are frequently not set up for success and many fail.

- Solid work-life balance - The people are smart and collegial

Cons

- The content of the reviews entitled "stay away if you know what's good for you", "Run....Don't do it!!", and "A rapid downhill that seems to only be getting worse" sum up the existing organizational issues. - There is a major communication problem that has not been solved by top-level strategy discussions, which seems to partially be because people pretend they know where things are headed even though they actually don't know or haven't yet made up their minds, and partially because the company, as a whole, doesn't have any successful systems for communicating decisions that affect week-to-week work but do not rise to the level of company-wide announcements. - HR is markedly bureaucratic and inflexible for what is, ultimately, not all that big a company. Yet, somehow, it nevertheless seems that not everyone has to follow the same set of rules when it comes to promotion and advancement, so it's literally the worst of both worlds. - There's been a lot of talk about diversity, equity, and inclusion, but no actual engagement with the extremely high turnover from the last six months among the corporate headquarters teams.

The people (excluding management) and the office location are the only two pros that come to mind.

Cons

-Pretty much everything. Do not work here unless you'd enjoy getting your soul sucked out of you little by little by the incompetent leadership team while getting paid far less than you deserve.
