Pros

Coworkers were great, good vibes, great to be around lots of students and events. Felt like a positive place to spend a few months and network. Internal documentation is good for some roles.

Cons

Raises for Front Lines were NOT what was written in the handbook, especially when given additional responsibilities and tasks. Lots of turnover in both part and full time staff, makes it hard to stay organized. Very hard to get access to resources sometimes.

Pros

- Competitive pay - Really smart, hardworking, motivated coworkers - Making a difference - Lots of office perks, like snacks and free food - So, so many learning opportunities - Internally to individual branches, everything is pretty great

Cons

Poor leadership at the global level. Headquarters seems resistant to put people in charge of immersive courses. There's no single point of contact. As a result, when something goes wrong there's not really anyone to take accountability for it.

Warm culture but growing pains

Pros

Warm culture and great people. Lots of focus on the positive company mission which is a great motivator. Free lunch on Tuesdays, unlimited vacation, free classes, fun holiday party, office kegs and you'll likely work with people who you grow very close to.

Cons

Burn out is very real and most only stay for a year or two. Management tends to be very green or overburdened themselves, which causes serious communication and work load issues down the chain. Development plans are not well discussed and work-life balance doesn't exist. You will be reminded that you work in education rather than tech when you request raise, and assume at best you will get 50% of your bonus.
