Good But Not Great

Pros

It's a good stable company with good benefits including 401(k) and pension plans. There's gym access, corporate discounts at different attractions and businesses like 24 hour fitness and AT&T.

Cons

Raises are mediocre and mobility to higher positions is pretty stagnant. The company culture is bleak and there is a lack of age, gender and racial diversity.

Pros

Benefits, 9x80 work schedule, interesting work

Cons

Large company still operating with small company mentality. Company is reactive versus proactive. Compensation is average to below average.

Pros

-Interesting work -nice size private cubicles -9/80 work schedule, 3 day weekends every other week!!! -Confidence in job security -Great place to grow as an engineer right out-of-college -Lots of smart people

Cons

-Pay is somewhat OK but tends to plateau with inflation based raises even with excellent annual performance reviews -Talented people realize salary will jump by leaving company, saturating labor pool with lower performers. -communication between functional groups needs to be standardized and improved -Too much politics, creating headaches trying to complete the simplest of tasks = waste
