Not a place for innovation

Pros

HQ is in San Diego, 9/80, pension, hybrid work

Cons

The company has settled into carbon copying old designs. It's a design that works, and people are quite proficient in their iteration of the design, but technological advancement isn't a consideration. You won't be technically challenged here. Diversity is quite low, there are no in office perks (not even coffee), and there is so much dead weight in the company. 5% of the company does 95% of the work. People are rarely enthusiastic about their job, and the energy of the company is dull. I think that management can still pivot and pursue something new and exciting, but it's unlikely. Seems like all the eggs are into the carbon copy effort. The crack in the foundation was MQ-25. Hopefully they can revive it, but I think the sun is setting for GA-ASI.

Pros

Rarely have to work more than 40 hours half of which are basically sitting on your hands.

Cons

Poor career development, uncompetitive wage, terrible leadership, most importantly though is a lack of leadership understanding the current market that they are in.

Pros

Interesting work on cutting edge drone and composite airframe technology

Cons

Very disorganized organizational structure. No less that five separate quality groups working on a product line at any given time. No coordination between program, operations, quality, and engineering
