I earn money although it's much less than what I made 10 years ago doing the same job. Also, I have medical insurance.
Cons
Everything pretty much sucks at GA-ASI. Have seen a lot of good people give up and leave because they got fed up with the BS; i.e. the good ole boy system run by former military staff who have no people skills. Management looks the other way because they only care that the job gets done, executive level management puts on a show with their Service Awards but the next minute they can't acknowledge underlings who work for them?!?! Expected to 'play well with others' who are disrespectful, condescending and who abuse their power. No one to turn to for work place issues; HR will throw you under the bus as will your very own manager. Archaic processes that should have been updated years ago. Very disappointed with this company in general, but I need medical coverage and an income to survive.
