Cool Product, Great Benefits, poor promotability and advancement opportunities.

Very stable place to work with good benifits and respect for personal time off if needed.

Cons

There is little to no chance of advancement and promotability is not common. The career path is dismal.

Pros

Talented, capable people are recognized and rewarded well. Slackers are not tolerated. Unusual for a government contractor. Good financial committment to IRADs that make sense no matter the timescale.

Cons

They will respect your personal life if you make it a priority. But if you dont' protect yourself they will happily overwork you until you burn out.
