Business Outlook
Pros
Decent pay for area, benefits are solid, and coworkers tend to be solid folks who care about their work. The work itself is very interesting and gives a sense of contributing to something larger than oneself.
Cons
Some design leaders (supervisors and/or management) aren’t exactly inspiring or even good at leading their teams. They have a tendency to micromanage and refuse to acknowledge a job well done. It’s difficult to advance both because of and in spite of the union and morale is very low.
