Challenging work in shipbuilding environment.

Stressful place to work. Had to park a mile away and took a shuttle in to the workplace due to parking issue at Groton Campus. The buildings for employees were old and poor insulation. Culture of the workplace was too much office politics which attributed to the lack of productivity. Management did not care to listen to their employees concerns and was very bureaucratic at times. Most of the work was paper-pusher that provided little career growth in the long term. Had to work the days between Christmas and New Year while other defense companies paid this time off. Had to clock in the hours daily using a timecard machine for both hourly and salary. Below average benefit package.
