In my time as both an intern and a full time employee, my experience at General Dynamics Electric Boat have been positive. There is room for upward mobility and many opportunities for professional development.

Cons

Inter-departmental communication could use improvement when departments are split between New London and Groton.

Advancement is achievable. Job outlook is good. Automatic raises are effective on a bi-annual basis.

Cons

There is an extreme knowledge gab between the waves of employment. No transfer of knowledge between veteran workforce and the millennials replacing them.
