Great Company - Plenty of Areas to Grow
Pros
There’s is always something interesting to world on especially on IRAD teams. Management is always at least willing to listen to employee concerns even if they can’t necessarily do anything about it. The pay is decently competitive and they offer good benefits.
Cons
There is a consistent lack of process here. There’s no mentorship program for new engineers. On many projects it can sometimes feels like a free-for-all this is especially true for smaller programs, but also in big ones. There’s a constant lack of communication from upper management to the greater teams, sometimes it just feels like everyone is working in a bubble. Career advancement is slow and confusing. There’s a lot of high performers who get the short end of the stick to new hires.
