Pros

Competitive salaries and smart people.

Cons

General Mills corporate has dissolved functional teams and replaced standardized organizational structure with competitive culture. You will be a part of a de facto team, however, in practice they encourage individual competition via comparative assessments. The culture is very much "step on each other's necks to get ahead". People are constantly in fear of being themselves at work, communicating anything that could convey "weakness" or open an opportunity to a competitor to achieve an advantage. You will be required to stand in assessment next to your "team members" and you will be unable to build real professional relationships with your colleagues.
