      a good start to my nursing career

      Pros

      very helpful and friendly DON and medical director. Nurses are very helpful to eachother and work well as a team.

      Cons

      Alot of bickering between shifts. Staffing was often not adequate and as a result, patient and family satisfaction with care suffered.

      Facility is frequently understaffed and there is not much room for advancement as a CNA.

      Pros

      Genesis offers a good rehab department and caring nursing staff . The pay is also very competaitive compared to other facilities in the area.

      Cons

      The repetative paperwork takes time away from the patients, lack of inservice and training, lack of opportunity to grow in the nursing career. The phamacy does not deliver meds timely.
