      They are large, if that is even a "Pro"

      Cons

      The leadership is absent from day-to-day operations of the facilities. There is absolutely no communication or direction. There company expects the employees to maintain engagement at their own expense and time. Tenure is meaningless. No opportunities for career advancement or education. The company has been struggling for years and the executive team is still in place.

      Resources and education. Other than that nothing.

      Cons

      High productivity for staff and DOR. 60% productivity for managers with 3 hours of meetings and then insurance auths, education (constant), daily reports, monthly reports, weekly calls +some = 10-12 hour days easily. They would sell your soul for a penny. Remember that and you’ll be fine. If you’re site is taken over and the new rehab company makes you an offer, even if you don’t take it, you will not get a severance...so I found out at 9 months pregnant. Once you give notice you will no longer be allowed to use sick days. They will take them all and you will have to make up time. When a takeover happens you also lose all your PTO. No cashing out.

      Pros

      I am not able to think of any at this time as things have been going down hill for quite some time now. I’m employed and collecting a salary. That’s about it.

      Cons

      Horrible benefits, no 401k match, out dated computers, insufficient network that cannot accommodate the demand, work load expectations are unrealistic, demands by upper management are unreasonable with the computer technology constraints and the staffing cuts. There is nothing done to boost moral or show appreciation to hard working employees.
