Pros

Location. Not that you have time to go out on lunch, but if you wanted to do a happy hour the location is great.

Cons

If you don't have any desire to succeed ever and you simply want to show up - get paid and go home. This job is for you. Teammates are overall great people but have some habits that need to be fixed - such as an unwillingness to research for answers, learn new software and transfer calls in the que. But honestly - this place crushes your very soul so I can't really blame them for not giving an ounce of effort. Management is down right awful. Not enough room here to elaborate on that. There are a few shiny gems who I have been extremely lucky to have in my management structure. But two of the managers are just terrible. I started to find some respect for one of them, but the other one is a complete waste of space. COMPLETE, waste of space. When I started I got a prorated one percent raise...thanks. Then nothing for the remainder of my unfortunate sentence. It feels like the company basically buys discounted software that no one has any desire to learn how to support from a server side and FREQUENTLY updates said software without testing - crashing and burning that system and then expects support to sort out the mess while they throw their hands in the air as if everything had ran smoothly when they pretended to watch the youtube demo. To me it would appear they’ve reached such a point of financial ruin that they've laid off so many employees they can't afford to let anymore go, so now they're tossing anything out the window that has high licensing fees in an attempt to use free or cheap software and then acts shocked that tons of features either no longer exist or costs extra. All the end users are at their wits end with this mess as well. They are forced to have 85-90% productivity percentages, using poor applications, on shoddy networks, and have to call in to a support line that has less than half the manning it once did 4 years ago. Call times on a normal day can average as high as 40 minutes. When the world is on fire the time gets so high it turns to stars because the system literally cant display minutes in triple digits.

Pros

There is not many that I can think of at the moment. I get a paycheck when they say I will.

Cons

Freezes on all raises for 4 years now, no autonomy in any building. Corporate will come in and make decisions without consulting any of the staff that actually work there. They make people work in small confined areas, sometimes 2 to a small office all for the sake of revenue. The staff is disposable to them. Money is priority with no concern for morale. Our CNAs make barely more than minimum wage. Hard to hold onto nursing staff because every other company pays them more. They have removed the educator position from all the buildings and attempt to train online. This leads to uneducated staff, and no hands on training. Short staffed, lack of equipment because of budget constraints. The corporate entity has become shady and untrustworthy. We are all just chess pieces in the race to make more money, show profit and receive the big bonuses they all get. In the end of the residents that suffer.

Pros

I worked with some pretty awesome team of people who tried to make a place better. The occasional employee appreciation party. Work from home opportunities.

Cons

Do you have a year to go over them all? Terrible benefits that get expensive really quick. And I mean, terrible high deductible/ no copay plans to start. Limited time off. Software that was purchased off a clearance rack and put into use without testing. Raises? What raises?!? Cost of living adjustment? Are you mad?!? Bonuses???? You must be this high to ride the ride. Of course, there's the ever increasing tidal wave of bad decisions from upper management to bring on tanking companies that, SPOILER ALERT, still continue to tank and bring the company down. Been "restructuring" for years now.... it's means layoffs, layoffs, layoffs.
