      Nice company, but unorganized for employee growth

      Pros

      Friendly work environment, nice perks like working from home if not traveling and pays for home internet and phone, open time off policy, great colleagues

      Cons

      Promotions are hard to come by, and when you get a promotion it doesn't mean you'll get a significant pay raise. No set pay ranges for each job title, promotions are often based on who you know or project you worked on and not what you know, when project assignment is out of employee hands. Best way to get a healthy raise is to leave Genesys and come back. No longer provide cost of living raises, despite constant company growth

      Pros

      Great people, Vision of company, commitment to customer success, large portfolio to work with, Executive support and willingness to help. Fast paced environment where change is embraced, company will work to change on a dime as opposed to turning around like a cruise ship. Terrific solutions that span contact center, social, mobile, offered OnPremise and in the Cloud.

      Cons

      Like any company which is evolving, improvement needed around operational excellence. On a positive note, the company realizes this and is working to improve.

      Pros

      Great success record and lots of new growth and opportunity present for existing employees. Being part of something that you know won't go away anytime soon is great for employees with families. We've got a lot of historical data to work with, and new ideas and drive to innovate. We are leaders in our industry and we'll continue to stay out front with the acquisitions and new products we are rolling out.

      Cons

      We should continue to focus on improving collaboration across teams. For such a large workforce across so many countries we are succeeding but we could do better.
