Pros

Genesys has great people, market leading solution in the market, strong leadership at the top and overall a fun culture. I recently moved to the Indy location from the Markham location. Great to see similar office activities enjoyed by all employees. Most recent summer Olympics and looking forward to the day at the Indy Zoo and Baseball outing. This location also has a strong "Inspiring Women's Program" that is gaining momentum across Genesys globally.

Cons

As Genesys continues to grow - there are constant changes to internal systems. It takes focus and training to keep abreast of all the changes.

Best micro service technology stack in industry. Follows DevOps culture. Management listens and fosters initiative, learning, and cutting edge technologies. Good work life balance.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive with local marketplace. Company leans towards patents rather than open source. Corporate and HR policies are antiquated and not following more modern trends.

That gives Genesys a great entrepreneurial style whilst being a company of 5000 people. As Strategic Business Consultant it is fantastic to learn, coach, guide and help many customers to make vision reality.

Cons

As many growing companies you'll need structure and processes. That's what Genesys needs too as it's 5000 people now. For people who worked at Genesys years ago or if you'd come from a small start-up style kind of company that might not always match expectations. You need to be open to change to work at Genesys.
