      Good people - those who are still there Great customers - spans industries and includes iconic companies Strong positioning around omnichannel and customer experience

      Cons

      Letting go too many good people in the effort to move salaries to lower cost areas and often to individuals to less experience or expertise Portfolio is too broad and resources spread too thin to allow for innovation and new capabilities customers want Difficulty at times balancing vision with real product roadmap

      Pros

      Open, friendly and thoughtful co-workers. People can disagree with each other and still work well together. Markham site has a more tech-focused vibe. Meritocracy - you will not really get points for boasting. Competitive environment since there is a lot of good talent, but also plenty of opportunity to make an impact. Reasonable work-life balance. Good Cloud oriented direction. You are developing practical software to help other businesses.

      Cons

      You have to be self-motivated to a certain extent to be successful. Multiple-sites can increase communication overhead in some cases. Genesys is a big company - so experiences will vary around the world.
