      Pros

      Unlimited PTO, empathy for employees, respectful and nice. Good tools and access to do your job. Stable and growing company.

      I hate when former employees have nothing bad to say, but I have to say this is a good company. I didn't have a lot of experience with contact center and didn't have the passion for it. My AI company was purchased by Genesys. There was about 12 months of build-out to get our product integrated into the other Genesys platforms which caused a lot of the sales team for my product to leave. The market was hot and when I looked around, I was able to get a very large pay increase with stock options. Had the market not been so great, I probably would have been happy here for another 5-10 years. Also, there were hundreds of people in my role who had been with the company for years, so climbing the ladder didn't seem likely.

      Great benefits, growing customer list, hot product.

      Cons

      Over all things are good at Genesys. The concerning part is the focus on race and gender. The company is very focused on targeting people based on this criteria, something that is not legal. I’ve heard people say “that team is all white men” while suggesting there is a problem that needs to be fixed.
