Upper management is discounting regular employees more and more

Your success in this company depends on whether you are Dutch, have studied or worked in the NL before and how long you worked for the company. Criticism is taken as an insult, especially if it comes from an outsider so people end up answering that everything is perfect when asked. Diversity and out-of-the-box thinking is a crime. Not everyone is like that, my former manager would undermine my work but use it in h benefit, lied in my evaluation repeatedly and made my experience in the company a nightmare. Good that I could change and now things are not so bad. If there is a conflict, nobody is by your side because the local employees are a coccoon and they cover each other, making it clear you are not one of them. If you work here, be ready to hear discriminative comments among the staff. You will notice how locals get promoted so much faster and foreigners are second-line employees.
