Don’t Do It

Pros

Benefits were on par with most other large corps, thanks to their merger with Genpact. Some employees were cool. Pay wasn’t bad for the job we did

Cons

(This review only applies to the Genpact subsidiary Brightclaim/Brightserv) I and several others ended up being laid off with no warning after management lied the previous month and said no one needed to worry about job security after it became clear they were losing yet another client. Any company that doesn’t give employees a heads up about a lay off doesn’t give a s—t about the workers. This was pre-COVID, by the way. There were red flags from my first day in that office. I had virtually no training for my first few weeks, and was instead given busy work. There were beefs between management, complete with managers using profanity and angrily storming out of department meetings. Not long after I started, they lost their largest client and it became clear I had been hired onto a sinking ship, which was especially disheartening since I regrettably took this job offer over one at a better company because the hiring manager made several promises in the interview. This was genuinely the most disorganized company I have ever worked for. There was even an insane moment where a new employee was hired that the company couldn’t afford because they were so strapped for cash, and the guy was fired/laid off literally on his first day. That’s how poorly run the place was, and how little they care about the people they hire. More than one year later, I hear the company’s still struggling. Don’t chance it.

Intrusive and Bureaucratic

Pros

They provide benefits Stable for a contract company If contract ends resulting in layoffs, they do attempt to place you in another contract if possible.

Cons

Uncompetitive pay No poach agreements that they won't disclose to employees or applicants unless asked directly Multiple DOL violations telling employees to meet customer KPIs but to also make sure to complete mandatory Genpact training. Not rational in 40 hour days in a high paced business environment. HR simply suggests better time management or to do irrelevant training on their own time.

Pros

Bonuses for performances. Not much. It's up $150 per month if you do a perfect job. Plus temporarily remote. Good insurance and benefits package.

Cons

Low pay, Micro-managed, Constant critiquing you for every little mistake, Threats that you will lose your job for compliance fails, poor training. No work/life balance.
