Pros

Lots of internal learnings/trainings to help build your resume, if you have time to.

Cons

Seems like the main goal of their contracts is to save company money by outsourcing most work to countries with cheaper labor. Layoffs come with disappointing severance packages. There are promises for other opportunities though they may be in different locations and may require you to shift your career specializations, if any. Plus you don’t know the end goal of the specific contract you’re moving to so is possibly a temporary assignment. IT is in a different country and works off hours. San Antonio location didn’t have local IT.

Pros

1. Salary Package is considerably above the average market value of a TL in comparison to the BPO around. 2. Consistent monthly incentive program, scorecard base.

Cons

[BGC] Indian managers and HR representative who are scared or aloof in engaging to difficult conversations shows very bad leadership skills. They cultivate an "escalation culture" by which the HR tolerates and participates in as well. HR is also a frontrunner in promoting escalation culture, whereas trainees are already receiving coaching logs or NTEs during their training period. Lack of vision, guidance and proper communication to their front line TLs and then blaming them after a metric is not met. Language barrier is definitely not an issue but their inability to be transparent and have meaningful conversation is really out of the charts. The senior leadership lacks proper recognition from big to small wins of their employees. Literally, every month in almost all of the department (QA, Training, Ops) there's a petty escalation that could have been sorted out with a sit down session with their respective managers. 5 Quality Experts have left the company without rendering Ops manager with 5 years of experience from the previous company left in just 3 months of stay Quality manager with 5 yrs exp from previous manager left as well in 3 months of stay Lean Manager filed a resignation in just 2 months with 20 years of experience in her profession. Quality manager went on AWOL from the toxicity of the workplace. These external high ranking leaders left under 6 months without having a new company to switch with. Imagine the culture they cannot stand in this workplace. This is not an ideal workplace for support roles. The top most leadership should have a thorough check and leadership training to its internal senior leadership.
