      Potential for movement between industries and growth but low pay and luck based

      Pros

      Decent number of client projects/contracts to bounce between however only if you are released at the right time. If you are unlucky, you will be laid off with or without a bench period.

      Cons

      Pay is below industry, cut throat management, does not pay to be honest.

      Entrepreneural environment if in consulting, hence good opportunities to learn, work in new areas and grow fast up to mid-mgmt. levels

      Cons

      Top heavy & lack of vision. Personal growth & opportunities gets limited from mid-mgmt. level, due to Company's stunted growth compared to peers. There is a lot of favoritism for promotions, benefiting folks that have been doing the same work with the same bosses for many years, versus, more qualified folks that help the company get into new domains and areas. Other than BPO, the Brand Value in the US is limited, so isn't very helpful when looking for other opportunities
