It's always great to assure that folks in need get the support they require.

Cons

Not enough local infrastructure to support what is required to do what the vision projects. Callous disregard for employees regardless of rank. Unrealistic expectations of employees. Business push is not supported by Medicare/hospice trends. As a result, heads are perpetually rolling.

Pros

I work with a great team here at SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice. We support each other, pitch in when help is needed, and strive to serve our patients as best we can. Hospice can be stressful and heart-rending but it is also rewarding. One of the best parts about working in Hospice is the ability to spend one-on-one time with patients and their families.

Cons

Having to be on call and make late night/early morning crisis visits.
