      A company without a future

      Pros

      Pay a lot; good market opportunity in LTC, market leadership in LTC, strong marketing function. Broad distribution (but it is on the decline).

      Cons

      Terrible instability in management/leadership. Lack of empowerment. Financial challenges. Facing downsizing due to errors of the past. No pathway to success, no viable strategy. Underpriced stock. Unpopular market focus (LTC), lack of differentiation relative to other carriers.

      Great immediate leadership, ok senior leadership

      Pros

      The IT side is great. Great leaders, great teams, great work. Lots of room for vertical and lateral mobility in IT.

      Cons

      The senior leaders need to pick a strategy and stick with it. The future of our company depends on it.
