Pros

-Genworth facilitates a culture that's focused on people first, and that includes their employees. I am constantly encouraged to take care of myself first and foremost, which is a first for me in an organization I've worked for -Their benefits are incredible. For example, full time employees can take advantage of unlimited paid time off, which you're encouraged to use, as well as 5 paid days annually to go out and volunteer and give back to the community -The people are incredible. Everyone is so nice, genuine, and understanding -The organization's commitment to diversity is unwavering, in a time where many organizations are scaling back their DEI initiatives

Cons

Sometimes things move a little slower than I'd hope and there are a lot of folks who want a say in items before anything gets changed - but that's typical for organizations mid sized or larger

Pros

Emphasis on volunteerism. Lots of employee morale events.

Cons

Constant stress of knowing that the next layoff is coming. Whole teams outsourced. Hardly any IT permanent employees left. Gotta keep those shareholders happy. Bottom line is the bottom line. The CEO makes lots of money by letting good people go. Maybe that's why they changed their name (now Enact).

Cons

Poor communication and management Outdated training information and processes Computer monitoring - how often you're active, how many times you step away, no flexibility with breaks or human necessities
