      Pros

      Genworth is an established company with a very friendly and transparent environment. The company really cares about their customers and their community. The business has gone through quite a bit of changes but still remain focus to be the front leaders in their industry

      Cons

      With all of it's changes, the company still struggles with what they did before compared to the direction the organization is trying to go. There is a population that is ready to make the leap forward while other parts are still holding on to what they do now (which is still successful).

      Pros

      Genworth's work environment is amazing. Everyone here is like a family and works together very well.

      Cons

      Sick time is taken out of your vacation time. It would be nice if sick time was separate from vacation.

      Pros

      Rewarding, challenging work Family-style atmosphere Opportunities for advancement Very competitive salary/bonus structure Heavily committed to Volunteer (40 hours of Volunteer Time Off, who does that?) Work from home opportunities Immense training opportunities and flexibility from management to make them available to you

      Cons

      Schedule flexibility is hit or miss Onboarding was a bit shaky at first, but this is largely because they are a Mortgage Insurance company and I had no Mortgage Insurance (or even Mortgage) experience prior IT can be a bit of a bottleneck on issues that arise
