Pros

Benefits are good. “FTO” is nice in theory if you can actually take it…

Cons

If you are not sitting at the management or exec table, you can pretty much count a decent living wage out. Seems like most managers got promoted immediately following the pandemic but the people who actually did the work saw zero reward... Never seen so many “valued” long term employees leave in such a short period of time. Management doesn’t seem to care or fight to make it right. Don’t waste your time... They are never going to pay you what you are worth no matter how hard you work to prove yourself. Unless of course you are hired as a VP or above, in that case I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Pros

nice people, good clients, FTO and good health benefits. You get to wear many hats.

Cons

You must wear many hats. Many first job producers and strategists who do not know or respect traditional creative process. Big agency problems include lack of clarity on WFH policy, difficult/occasional/impersonal review process, very hard to get any salary increase or promotions from within.
