      I work as a Student Manager at Colonial Connection in the Office of Annual Giving

      Pros

      Excellent pay for a college job (starting wage for a manager is $12.50/h, for a caller it's $11.50/h), and very laid back and friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy calling alumni and talking to them about their experience, and they are always willing to rehire you if you spend a semester away or something.

      Cons

      Very high turnover rate (like any telemarketing job), and it is some distance from campus.

      Pros

      Good benefits and a competitive salary.

      Cons

      Unprofessional environment. Expect to deal with a lot of unqualified people who contribute nothing to the functioning of the organization. I believe that many of the senior management have found shelter at the university because they would not survive in private industry. Not worth the stress.
