Pros
Lots of great students, faculty and staff. It's in the heart of a great city, offers spectacular opportunities for students to intern, work, and expand professional development. Really good tuition and retirement benefits.
Cons
Salaries are kept very low. Cost of living adjustments are called "merit increases" and are in danger of not happening every year. The bureaucracy is difficult to manage and the culture is very political starting in middle management, but that is typical of most colleges and universities
