Pros

Great benefits - especially the tuition benefits. Experience at GU highly depends on department/school you land in. Main campus had a much better culture than medical center so I'd advise staying away from the med center.

Cons

Low salary, bureaucratic, zero training coupled with high expectations to get acclimated quickly, not supportive of employees who are also students, poor communication amongst departments and managers to employees, thankless job that can wear morale down because no matter how many hours you put in you're still failing.

Pros

If you are working for a professor who knows exactly what he/she wants, this is a great job.

Cons

Georgetown's grade-capping makes for a tough job.
