Pros

I worked as postdoctoral fellow here. I enjoyed the relaxing life around the campus. You don't feel much pressure everydy.

Cons

The bureaucracy makes resarch really hard. It take forever to process any paperwork. The university isn't very supportive on your research. Not recommended if you really want to achieve something.

Pros

I really enjoyed my two years as a Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center. The contacts I made were outstanding, there were lots of opportunities to engage in all sorts of intellectual events and other social and sporting activities. The legal projects I worked on were prestigious and involved interesting travel. University has good leave policies and benefits such as gym, cheap cafeteria, good working from home policy in my unit.

Cons

Lack of potential to move upwards (all academic jobs like this at the moment). Academic bosses not necessarily good managers, but were well meaning.
