      1. Technology-based 2. Growing trend when it comes to education

      Cons

      1. Needs to provide equal opportunities for all applicants, to promote a more diverse company culture -I've known several teachers to apply...very good, tech savvy teachers, who never heard back from GCA. On the other hand, I also know of low-performing teachers to be offered positions with GCA, even though they were denied B&M contracts for upcoming school years. Unfortunately, I cannot state the key difference between the first and latter group of teachers.

      Good idea to assist students in learning

      Cons

      Too much work for teacher for very little pay. The administration and department heads always changing their minds so the burden falls on teachers. Students are not engaged in the virtual class no matter how much of a great teacher you are. K12 does not care about the students only how many students they can add to a teachers roster so that they can get more money for their bottom line. If you have kids at home this job is not for you,

      90% of the time work from home. You can wear anything you want!

      Cons

      EVERYTHING ELSE! It's like I'm a working in the documents office constantly going back and forth to the gradebook and several other programs putting in students grades everywhere! It's way worse than any B&M school.
