Pros

Always opportunities to move up or switch to full-time if needed. There are plenty of clients to fill a caseload (typically 25 hours per week full-time). Staff are really supportive

Cons

PRODUCTIVITY! The hourly pay rate is only for billable services - they do not pay towards admin or drive time (however they do reimburse for mileage). When clients cancel/no show and you're just out that time/money, so there's pressure to over-book. Benefits aren't great if you have to include your family on the health plan. They cover a percentage of the employee, but do not cover any portion of the spouse/kids. Heath insurance costs through them for a family is comparable to going through the marketplace
