Pros

Great MBM culture. You will succeed anywhere you go if you apply market based management.

Cons

MBM is a great tool but it is not followed by front line managers.

Pros

GP is a private company which makes worrying about quarter to quarter performance irrelevant. Limits decisions for short-term wins only. Allows focus on driving long-term value.

Cons

GP is huge. With over 30,000 employees, silos exist. As does too much internal review and challenge to drive innovation. GP is also too risk adverse.
